FAQ

Does the logo on your site have anything to do with your game?
No, not really. Plan on seeing it changed at some point when my pet elves get back from their walking talking fish hunt.

What does the name 'In Limbo' mean?
It doesn't really relate to the game, but after six months of thinking up names it's the only one I liked. Radiohead.

What kind of maps should we expect?
Anything that's fun. Some might be symmetrical with team bases, like a team fortress map, while others could be very experimental and abstract. Our mappers are open to create whatever style of map they feel would work well.

Does anything relate to anything in your mod?
If it really bothers you, think of inconsistency as our theme.

What does the future look like for In Limbo? What are your plans for HL2?
Work will continue as hard as ever on In Limbo until HL2 is released. At that time we will assess HL2 and decide whether to continue working on this mod, move this mod to HL2, or to start a completely new mod for HL2.

When will In Limbo be released?
Sometime in August is likely, definitely before HL2 is released. We won't have every feature from our original plans in the first release (more like half). Unlike many mods which have infrequent but major updates, In Limbo will most likely be updated whenever two or three new features are completed.

Can I play In Limbo on my iMac?
AHAHAHAHAHAHA. No. In Limbo is a free download but requires you to own a copy of Half-Life or Retail Counter-Strike to play. Which means you'll need a PC that meets Half-Life's minimum requirements.

Even though the game hasn't been released yet, I have a tech support question. What should I do?
Please do not email me regarding tech support questions. I probably won't be able to help you and it takes away from time that could be spent working on the game. If however you feel you've found a bug, feel free to send those emails. I would prefer if tech support questions would be asked in the forums. If you have ideas or general comments about the game, it will probably get more consideration and review if you post it in the forums, though you may send them directly through email to the team.

I'm all out of ice, help me!
I'll take this moment to inform you that we don't actually have any real frequently asked questions, because no one has ever asked us a question. You might have suspected that after reading the Macintosh question (AHAHA, cuz no one actually owns a mac). So if you do have any questions or comments please send me your emails.
